KUNDALINI

Kundalini, meaning "coiled" in Sanskrit, describes a dormant, powerful life energy that lies dormant in the lower spine. It is often depicted as a coiled serpent—an image of the untapped creative potential within every human being. The concepts of Kundalini are central to Tantra, particularly in the Shiva-Shakti philosophy, which unites masculine consciousness (Shiva) and feminine energy (Shakti).

This energy is closely connected to the chakras, the subtle energy centers of the body. In its normal state, it resides in the root chakra (Muladhara). When the Kundalini is awakened, it rises along the spine and flows through the chakras to the crown chakra (Sahasrara). In this way, it can activate each center and trigger profound inner healing and transformation processes.

The awakened Kundalini is considered a path to expanded consciousness, deep self-knowledge, and a more intense connection to the world.
